Would you like to know the real "Power" behind Alcoholics Anonymous? Alcoholics Anonymous, 4 th ed., page 43, quotes this leading physician: "there is no doubt in my mind that you were 100% hopeless, apart from divine help." And at page 60, declares: "That God could and would if He were sought."

Each of the first three AAs--Bill Wilson, Dr. Bob Smith, and Bill Dotson--was a Christian and turned to God for help before there were any Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, basic texts, "drunkalogs" or meetings as we know them today.

Each was cured by the power of God and said so. And for a decade after the founding of A.A. in 1935, news and magazine articles across the nation contained the statements of pioneers that they had been cured of alcoholism by the power of God.

May God bless and help every suffering soul who turns to Him for help and really wants it.

JESUS is the answer - just like Teen Challenge for drugs - they have the lowest resitivism (ok, I can't spell) rate of any program out there by a long shot and it is because of the Lord!
